FU BAROSSA VALLEY SHIRAZ

Fu Shiraz is an international award winning wine and considered to be one of the best wines ever produced. Rated as 99 Point “World Beater” Shiraz. MOREWINE is proud to share this award winning wine with our clients.

The fruit comes from vines aged 90 years old and is sourced from single vineyards that are considered as the finest vineyards in Barossa Valley in South Australia. These vines are not good because they are old, they are old because they are good.

From some stand out vintages, FU Shiraz is offered up as something of the most premium quality wine in the world. 2010 was one of the standout vintages of the last decade. The smooth flow of vintage allowed the winemaker to select specific fruit parcels and allowed them to define the wine as much in the vineyard as the winery. Perfectly ripened fruit packed with berry flavour and ripeness was selected. These grapes were brought into the winery and crushed into old vats where the grapes were fermented with “wild” yeasts found on the grape skins. The wine was transferred into brand new oak barrels and matured for 36 months before bottling.
